Letchworth State Park Nature Center Exhibits

Letchworth State Park, renowned as the “Grand Canyon of the East,” is one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs–as high as 600 feet in some places–surrounded by lush forests. In 2015, Letchworth won the USA Today Readers’ Choice Award for Best State Park in the United States.

In 2015, the Open Space Institute Land Trust, Inc. (OSILT) partnered with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation to fund and build a new Nature Center at Letchworth State Park. The project included concept development, fabrication, and installation of state-of-the-art exhibits and interactive elements.
