City of Delaware Ohio Water Treatment Plant

Water Treatment Plant Education Center

In 2015 the City of Delaware, Ohio opened a brand new, state-of-the-art water treatment facility. The new facility included upgrades to the former plant, as well as an expansion which provides high-tech filtration systems that allow the City to service its fast growing population safely and efficiently.

As part of the upgrades, the new space also includes an Education Center that highlights the plant’s nano and ultra filtration technologies, along with information on the history of water treatment and conservation in the region.

With a desire to educate the general public and supplement local school field trips, the City engaged us to help bring their vision of an informative and interactive exhibit to life. Complete with graphic panels, multi-media video narratives, and an art mural developed by school kids, the exhibit is an excellent example of collaboration and thoughtful interpretation.
